As the old saying goes, "Roma non fu fatta in un giorno", or "Rome wasn't built in a day". Is not really long before you realize the truth of this statement. Roman works-of-art and masterpieces are everywhere. Walking through Rome is like walking through two thousand years of history, all intertwined and juxtaposed into the present-day. You can take a stroll along the River Seine. Going in the bridge (Pont d'Arcole) and turning into the Quai aux Fleurs and / or Quai de la Corse is your best option here as both of this roads tend to be quieter as opposed to the riverside roads next to L'Hotel de Ville.
